Discover the Agulhas Wine Route

The Agulhas Wine Route takes you to the very edge of the continent. Around Elim, Napier and Bredasdorp, vineyards grow among wild fynbos, just a short drive from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.

Strong ocean winds and cool temperatures keep yields small and flavours intense. Consequently, the area has earned a reputation for crisp, mineral Sauvignon Blanc, as well as Shiraz and Pinot Noir with real character. It is a true off-the-beaten-track wine adventure.
