Discover Stellenbosch — Helderberg

The Helderberg subroute sits on the southern side of the Stellenbosch winelands, between Somerset West and Stellenbosch town. Its vineyards climb the slopes of the Helderberg mountain, with views over False Bay.

Cooling breezes from the ocean keep the grapes fresh and balanced. As a result, the Helderberg produces refined Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends, along with excellent Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Why visit

  • Elegant reds and fresh whites shaped by sea breezes
  • Ocean and mountain views from many tasting rooms
